Fundraising
The committee runs the Las Vegas Evening annually to raise funds for the North West Group and other events that have run in the past have included supermarket and town centre collections, theatre nights sponsored cycle rides, swimathons and other events.
The group has also been supported by activities and events organised by our members and external organisations including Holy Cross College and the South Caernarfon Soroptomist Club. We would like to say a big Thank You to all those who have got involved throughout the years to make it possible for the group to provide days out to attractions and theme parks; family weekends, purchase of medical equipment for Haemophilia Centres, research projects, Contaminated Blood campaign and raising awareness of bleeding disorders.
Volunteering
Volunteering is a great way for people who want to gain new skills and develop new interests. It is also good a good way to gain work experience and employability skills.
